Introduction
Fiberglass covered Aluminum/Copper wire is according to customers requirement, Aluminum/Copper conductor is evenly covered with one or two layers of non-alkali fiberglass, then it's impregnated in compatible insulating coating of required thermal class baked to make a whole between fiberglass and Aluminum/Copper conductor (optionally be applied to polyester and polyamide).
   The Glass in Fiber Glass Covered Insulated Rectangular Flat Aluminum Wire may be applied in woven tape form or as a continuous fiber. It has proved to be an efficient insulation providing coil winders with higher thermal stability, adequate electrical properties and good resistance to abrasion after varnishing. The glass is bonded with a varnish for dielectric strength to improve mechanical properties.

Fiber Glass lapped conductors (bare or enameled) are very suitable for windings of electric motor stators, generators, special transformers and high voltage motors. In general this insulation can be applied where high mechanical strength and high insulation properties are required. It exhibits a very high degree of mechanical and thermal stability.
The bare electrical aluminum wire from extrusion process is the most ideal materials to produce Fiberglass Covered Insulated flat square aluminum wire.
 Most common application is in traction motors. It exhibits a very high degree of mechanical and thermal stability, either for class F and H insulation when impregnated with polyester, Polyester imide or epoxy based impregnating varnishes. General types:
1. Single glass fiber copper / aluminum flat wire
The structure of single glass and double glass enamelled round aluminum wire flat aluminum wire winding is basically the same as that of glass wire, except that the bare wire is replaced by enamelled wire. This type of winding wire is "reinforced insulation", which is applicable to the windings of motor electrical products with high working voltage and high reliability requirements. For example, single glass enamelled round copper wire can be used for motor windings in severe working environments such as mines. There are 130-220 different temperature indexes for the lacquer "core", but since the maximum temperature resistance index of the bonding lacquer is 180, the temperature index of this type of winding wire is only 130, 155 and 180.
2. Double glass fiber copper / aluminum flat wire

For double glass filament coated wire, glass filament and polyester filament are generally used to dip and coat the corresponding special paint for glass filament coated wire for continuous winding coating, which needs to be dried. The double glass fiber needs to be coated twice in both directions of rotation. It is generally used for large electrical appliances such as transformers and welding machines.
Double glass filaments can also cover enameled wires, so that both the pressure resistance characteristics of enameled wires and the heat resistance characteristics of glass filaments can be obtained. Double glass wire wrapped wire is a copper wire wrapped with a layer of glass wire for insulation.
3. Glass fiber wrapped film wrapped wire    
The insulation structure of this type of winding wire is first wrapped with film on the wire, and then wrapped with single or double glass fibers. It shall be impregnated with incompatible insulation coating of the required thermal grade and baked to form a whole between the glass fiber, film and conductor. The product is characterized by relatively thin insulation thickness and high withstand voltage value. It is especially suitable for high-voltage motor windings with working voltage of 6kV and windings of other motors and electrical products. The temperature resistance index of this product is 130, 155 and 180/200. The wrapped polyester film with temperature resistance index of 130, the wrapped polyesterimide film with temperature resistance index of 155 and 180/200 or the polyesterimide F46 composite film (the insulation flexibility of the winding wire of the latter is better than that of the former), the film thickness is generally 0.05mm thick. If 0.02-50.03mm is used, the product with nominal insulation thickness of 0.02mm can be made by adding single glass fiber. Its breakdown voltage is not less than 2500V, and its insulation performance is better than that of enameled glass clad copper flat wire.
This product has voltage breakdown resistance and temperature resistance grades of 130, 155, 180 and 200. It is widely used for windings of reactors, transformers, motors or other similar electrical products.
The polyester film or polyimide film shall be overlapped by more than 30%, and the return of two layers of glass fiber shall be opposite. Class F wire shall be immersed in class F insulating paint, and class H wire shall be immersed in class H insulating paint
155 grade film wrapped wire (copper and aluminum): the insulation structure is formed by the bottom polyester film plus glass fiber and special wire wrapped insulation paint after high-temperature baking and curing. Compared with a single wire wrapped wire, it has excellent electrical performance, excellent wear resistance and high mechanical strength of the wire wrapped wire, and improves the environmental protection of the product. Class 180/200 film wrapped wire (copper and aluminum): the insulation structure is formed by the bottom polyimide film plus glass fiber and special wire wrapped insulation paint after high-temperature baking and curing. At the same time, it has excellent wear resistance and high mechanical strength of the wire wrapped wire, and improves the environmental protection of the product. This kind of product is coated with self-adhesive paint on the surface of products 1, 2 and 3. For this reason, the winding turn bonding process can be simplified and the bonding quality can be improved. The thickness of the self-adhesive paint layer applied is not more than 0.03mm. This value can not be calculated in product design. When the paint layer is heated and pressurized, it is leveled and filled, but the thickness can disappear. It is a technological material. At present, self-adhesive paint is mostly applied on flat wires, which is more common. The temperature resistance index of this kind of products also has three grades: 130, 155 and 180.
Requirements for self-adhesive property: after heating the sample for 20min as required, the self-adhesive property shall be  2MPa; Temperature grade: according to different needs, there are 130,155,180 temperature grades.
