Product Introduction: 
As the name suggests, the drop type grounding wire is different from the rod type grounding wire we usually use. The drop type grounding wire does not have a grounding operating rod and is composed of a drop type grounding clamp, grounding soft copper wire, insulation rope, and grounding clamp. When in use, throw the electrical clamp from a high place and hang it on the conductive body.
The drop type grounding clip is shaped like a crocodile or duck beak, hence it is also known as a crocodile clamp grounding wire or duck beak grounding wire. The drop type power clamp is usually directly connected to the iron tower, making it more convenient to use.
Product purpose: 
To protect power outage operators and avoid electric shock injuries caused by external and induced voltages when working within the maintenance scope of power outage lines.

Product configuration:
The complete set of grounding wires must be composed of multiple strands of soft copper wire, with a cross-sectional area of no less than 25mm². It is strictly prohibited to use other wires as grounding wires and short circuits. The grounding wire should not be mixed and stored with other items. It should be hung in a ventilated and dry tool room or a dedicated grounding wire storage cabinet, and managed by a dedicated person. The grounding wire should be tested on schedule, and unqualified ones are strictly prohibited from use.
The grounding wire produced by our factory adopts multiple copper wires with a diameter of 0.15-0.18mm twisted into strands, covered with transparent protective tubes, and the surface is vulcanized to withstand high temperature and cold, wear resistance and not easy to age. The grounding soft copper wire is produced according to national standards, and acceptance testing ensures that it passes the grounding wire. If it fails the test, it will be returned or replaced for free. The length and cross-sectional area of soft copper wire can be made according to actual needs. The drop type grounding wire clamp can be made of aluminum or copper material by machine die-casting.

Technical parameters:
1. The hanging type grounding wire should use multi-strand soft copper wire with transparent sheath, and the cross-sectional area should not be less than 25mm².
2. According to the maintenance voltage level, eight types of hanging grounding wires are used, including 35kV, 66kV, 110kV, 220kV, 330kV, 500kV, 750kV, and 1000kV. Before work, grounding wires of appropriate length to the voltage level are selected.
3. Comply with the relevant provisions of SD-332-89 DL/T879-2004 DL408-91 "Technical Standard for Portable Short Circuit Grounding Wire".
4. The short circuit and grounding wire are multi-stranded copper flexible twisted or braided wires, which are soft and heat-resistant. The grounding wire produced by our factory is composed of multiple copper wires with a diameter of
0.15-0.18mm. The grounding soft copper wire is produced according to national standards, and the acceptance and testing are guaranteed to pass. If it fails the test, it will be returned and replaced for free.
5. The stranded wire is covered with a transparent light red or transparent sheath insulation layer, which is a protective layer with a thickness of 1.2mm. The transparent insulation layer and the copper stranded wire are all over plastic.
6. The wire clamp can ensure good electrical contact at the connection with the power equipment and grounding body, and meet the requirements for dynamic and thermal stability under the action of short-circuit current. The hanging type power clamp is made of aluminum or copper material by machine die-casting, but due to the high cost of copper, aluminum power clamps are generally used without special requirements.
7. The insulation rope is made of silk rope with good insulation performance.
8. Hardware such as wire clamps, busbars, and wire noses are made of copper or aluminum alloys (with tensile strength, yield, and elongation meeting standards), and their dimensions match the cross-sectional area of the short circuit, grounding wire, and the size of the wire clamp.
9. The grounding terminal adopts copper wiring nose. The grounding clamp is generally made of aluminum. Please specify when ordering copper grounding clamps for grounding wires.

Attention should be paid to cleaning and hygiene work to prevent sediment and dirt from entering the pores of the product, which can affect the normal use of the grounding wire.
