Product Description:
The insulated operating rod of American box type transformer is applicable to the operation of high-voltage electrical equipment such as combined transformer (American box type transformer), cable branch box and ring network cabinet. It can switch the load switch under the charged state and plug in and out the accessories such as plug-in fuse, elbow lightning arrester and elbow cable connector. It is an indispensable tool for cable branch box and ring network cabinet of combined transformer. The insulating operating rod of American box transformer is specially used for live pulling and inserting 200A elbow cable plug, lightning arrester, 200A protective cap and special insulating tool for operating high-voltage load switch of American box transformer

Application:
The shotgun operating rods are the most versatile tool in a line worker's hands, the stick puts an easy-to-control "finger" on an insulated pole. Although primarily designed for installing hotline and grounding clamps, it serves both overhead and underground circuts with various end fittings. Commonly called a "shotgun", the operating mechanism incorporates a sliding hand grip that opens the hook to grasp a clamp eyescrew and retract it into the tool head. A thumb latch then must be depressed to release the locked hand grip so it can open the hook.
Operation:
The gun type operating rod is composed of a threaded tool holder sliding handle to open the shackle;
When opening: the latch must be pressed, release the handle and open the shackle;

Use safety tips:

2. Before use, check whether the operating lever is intact, clean and dry.
3. During live operation, workers must wear insulating gloves, insulating caps and insulating boots and strictly implement the insulation requirements
If any problem occurs during operation, the power supply should be cut off immediately.
Note: the operating lever must be cleaned and dried after operation, and then put back into the packaging bag. The electrical performance test of the operating lever should be conducted every 6 months.
The storage environment shall be dry, clean and free from direct sunlight.
