Product introduction:
The grounding wire of the Ring Main Unit (RMU) can be divided into two categories: elbow type plug connector type and pin type plug connector type (also called cable branch box grounding wire).
It is generally used for outdoor line and substation construction. Possible situations during maintenance:
1. Return current in the line
2. Electrostatic induction generated by nearby charged body
3. The line is electrified due to the wrong closing of the staff. At this time, the ground wire connects the live line with the earth and travels a closed circuit to ensure the personal safety of the operator, so the ground wire is also a safe return line.
The grounding elbow is the preferred equipment for the operation procedure of the underground power system. It can provide the grounding lead for the maintenance of the cable and also provide the lead for the cable test. The grounding elbow can be used alone or form a visible cable grounding point with the single-pass and double-pass bushings of box-type transformer and Ring Main Unit (RMU). The grounding elbow is made of copper guide pole with arc extinguishing, copper compression joint, high insulation strength and anti-aging insulating rubber, which is fully insulated.

1. Operating voltage;
2. The length of the grounding rod and the style of the grounding terminal;
3. Sectional area, length and connection mode of copper wire (split phase or closed phase);
4. Grounding terminal style (spiral clamp or ground stud).
Product structure:
1. Operating ring: pull ring made of stainless steel, which can be used together with insulating operating rod
2. Copper crimping terminal: make the product and cable tightly crimped
3. Insulation layer: unique formula and mixing technology ensure excellent quality of prefabricated EPDM insulating rubber
4. Semiconductor inner layer: prefabricated EPDM conductive rubber can effectively control electrical stress
5. 600V single-core cable: voltage class: 600V, effectively grounded
6. Arc suppression insertion rod: tinned copper guide handle with arc suppression function

1. Voltage instrument shall be used for voltage measurement at test point; The test point shall be dry and free of dirt.
2. The separable connector obtains high electrical insulation and sealing performance through the elastic interference fit of the interface. The cleanliness of the product surface during installation has a great impact on the operation quality. Therefore, clean and dry the surface of the product, evenly apply silicone grease before installation, otherwise flashover or even breakdown will be caused by the presence of conductive impurities or moisture.
